The Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation is hosted a “Seminar on Best Practices to Implement Targeted Financial Sanctions and Sanction Evasions” for three days; in partnership with the Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF), and the participation of representatives and experts from member countries.

The seminar shed light on the latest updates to international standards issued by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for implementing Targeted Financial Sanctions (TFS), technical tools used to ensure TFS implementation, as well as typologies and best practices to identify sanctions evasion that support terrorist and proliferation financing activities.
