The Executive Office of the Committee for Goods and Material Subjected to Import and Export Control participated in the UAE’s "Flag Day" ceremonies. The UAE flag was raised and fluttered high in the sky in front of MoFAIC Office in Dubai and the flag salute was rendered in an atmosphere that embodied the principle of “Al Bayt Mitwahid - Our Home is united ". The celebration showed the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and wise leadership.

The "Flag Day" is a response to the initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, May God protect him, since 2013 to celebrate this occasion on 3 November each year. The ceremony also coincides with the anniversary when his Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “May God protect him” took over the reins of power in the UAE.
