The Executive Office for control and non-proliferation (EOCN) has participated in a workshop organized by Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones (RAKEZ) in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, EOCN, the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR), Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office, and RAK Customs Department.  The meeting has targeted RAKEZ customers working in the defense sector and military-related factories. During the workshop, legislations and procedures for compliance with licenses and commodity permits in the field of export control; related to military products and equipment ;were presented. The seminar has also tackled other related issues.

 The event was attended by H. E. Talal Al – Tunaiji; EOCN director; Brigadier General Yacoub Youssef Al-Hammadi, director of the Directorate of Licenses and Security of Defense Industries, and a number of officials from other authorities.
